The approximately 200 partners in the BioRN Cluster are biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare enterprises and academic research and training facilities, as well as suppliers, branch-specific service providers, communities, associations, and, last but not least, investors.

In 2008, in the first round of the leading-edge cluster competition, the Biotechnology Cluster Rhine-Neckar (BioRN) was chosen by a jury consisting of representatives from business, science and politics as one of the five strongest high-technology locations in Germany and as the only leading-edge cluster in the branch of the future, biotechnology.
